A while back I created this poster idea showing the evolution of how music has been heard and played over the years.

From the first shellac record in 1901 to the launch of iTunes exactly one century later. The subsequent years have seen an influx of streaming of music on online platforms, Spotify being the most prominent. However in the last decade or so, there has been a slow and steady revival for vinyl.

​I am excited about this return to records, as a collector myself I love the physicality and process behind spinning vinyl. From choosing what to play from a limited selection, enjoying the beautiful artworks and sleeve designs to dropping the needle onto the wax, I love it all.
